Welcome to InTrack Project

The InTrack is a cross-sectional and ecological research project. The purpose is to identify factors associated with road running performance in non-professional runners. The study started in 2019, and the first "stage" was conducted between 2019 - 2021 sampling about 1250 Brazilian runners. Several works were developed with this data. In 2021, the primary aim of the InTrack project is to investigate the variance in the performance of young athlete’s runners from different countries and understand whether differences in the performance can be explained by countries' micro-, meso- and macro-level characteristics, in a multilevel approach. The theoretical model is below.

OUR GOALS:

- Attract new countries;

- Understand the micro-, meso-, and macro-level factors that are related to running performance.
